A challenging position for a dynamic sales consultant who wants to make a mark in the South African digital landscape.

To take the fastest growing digital publication to market and sell advertising in this leading business news publication as well as other growing publications. Use your experience and relationships in taking the various advertising opportunities to market.

Key responsibilities  
To execute and manage the sales for a leading digital publication.
To present the brand, the content, the platforms and ideas to clients in a compelling fashion.
Generate a high number of new and repeat sales with prospective brands, executing and documenting weekly volume calls, in-person meetings, and industry networking events.
Build a client base of key decision-makers and delivering solutions with top-notch client service.
Accountable for all advertising sales revenue streams ensuring that set targets are met.
Source and secure key sponsorship opportunities and partnerships.
Report sales results and stats on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis and give relevant feedback to management team.
Keep up to date on industry sales trends and competitor activity.
Manage (initiate, schedule, monitor) advertising campaigns.

Digital advertising sales experience and a solid track record in achieving digital sales targets is essential to success in the role and is a prerequisite for consideration.

It is essential the candidate has existing, well established relationships with digital media buyers.

A formal qualification in one of the following:areas: marketing, advertising, commerce,communication, public relations,media studies.

A good business orientation and a keen interest in what is happening in the financial markets.
