Head of Enterprise Fixed Solutions – MTN – Roodepoort

To lead the MTN SA Enterprise Fixed Solutions Team in order to achieve business growth targets across all vertical markets. This role will lead all our Fixed solutions within MTN Business. This role holds the overall profit and loss accountability for the Fixed Solutions line of business supported by other business functions. The role will have influence over sales, business development and service delivery activities in partnership with other supporting structures within MTN Business SA, MTN SA and MTN Group Enterprise Business unit. The Head of Enterprise Fixed Solutions will also design, implement and sustain an effective operating model for Fixed Solutions within MTN Business and MTN SA, and will report directly into the Executive: Enterprise Solutions & Operations.

• 4 Year Tertiary qualification in Commerce or equivalent
• MBA / Masters advantageous
• Relevant accreditation in sales advantageous

• Minimum of 8 years in Enterprise Fixed Solutions environment and leading a team and execution thereof.
• Manager track record of 5 years or more; with at least 3 years in relevant sector/ industry Worked across diverse cultures and geographies advantageous
• Experience in working in matrix structures and leading through influence and cross-collaboration
• Proven track record in delivering on Enterprise revenue targets and profitability
• Profit and loss experience will be essential and preferred

Key Performance Areas:
Profitable Growth Strategy
• Set up, manage and monetise the Fixed Solutions line of business within MTN Business for all solutions in the Fixed space.
• Ensure that the Fixed LoB Operating Model is aligned to the overall Sales and Solutions and Services Strategies.
• Direct appropriate investments and resources to the right areas of the business to maximise returns.
• Achieve Fixed Solutions LoB revenue and profitability targets.
• Identification of market opportunities for strategic partnerships to accelerate the Fixed Solutions business in-line with the business strategy.
• Design Fixed Solutions Operating Model, set objectives, KPIs and road map for the portfolio. Ensure dissemination and periodic updates to internal stakeholders.

Client Experience
• Develop a Fixed Solutions LoB Product Roadmap including both business retail and wholesale models for direct clients and partnerships.
• Ensure delivery of exceptional client experience for Fixed Solutions LoB across all market segments that MTN Business serve.
• Conduct regular CSAT surveys in partnership with Enterprise Marketing team to monitor client satisfaction across all customer segments for Fixed solutions.
• Be the overall custodian for customer engagement and provide thought leadership internally and externally.
• Be the overall custodian for client and partner engagement across the business.
• Achieve alignment internally with other MTN Business Units in order to leverage best practices and packages

Operational Excellence
• Achieve forecast accuracy of -2%, +5%
• Ensure appropriate business predictability for the Fixed Solutions LoB
• Ensure the right Fixed Solutions LoB organisation structure to enable better client and partner experience
• Implement specific Fixed Solutions-centric KPIs to drive business objectives
• Establish the appropriate sales enablement processes and procedures to support direct sales and partnerships
• Oversee the development the requirements for the appropriate Fixed Solutions-centric processes, systems and tools to drive performance, accreditations, SLAs and contractual obligations
• Ensure the Fixed Solutions-centric systems and tools are kept updated and accurate
• Provide on-time and accurate Fixed Solutions Team reporting
• Continuously recommend incentive schemes to align the Fixed Solutions Sales efforts
• Establish regular incentive programmes to accelerate MTN Business Fixed solutions sales
• Ensure that a process is in place for seamless handover between Fixed Solutions Team and other MTN Business functions
• Effective budget management
