Senior Lecturer in Theoretical Particle Physics – University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg

Brief Description
A PhD and postdoctoral research experience in theoretical particle physics with a good publication record and evidence of independent research with international profile. Strong background in model building is expected. Experience interacting with the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) experiments is a plus. Teaching experience and involvement in the supervision of postgraduate students are an advantage.
Final selection will be made on the basis of scholarship and potential to contribute to the work and reputation of the School.

Senior Lecturers are expected to pursue research, teach, supervise postgraduate students and participate in the administration of the School, Faculty and University.
