The South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI) requires an efficient and enthusiastic person to render a productive service to all SANBI employees with regards to the implementation of Supply Chain Management Policy, which consists of processes, systems and procedures as illustrated in the PFMA and related legislations.
The successful candidate must be in possession of a three-year National Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management / Purchasing Management/ Logistics/ Business Management or a relevant tertiary qualification, enhanced by 2 years’ relevant experience in Contracts Management.
The candidate should demonstrate good communication and analytical skills, excellent interpersonal relations are a prerequisite. The candidate must be highly proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel and possess a valid Code B driver’s license and willing to travel.
Capture and update contract register
Monitor contracts payment monthly
Monitor variations and extensions of contracts
Facilitate the signing of contracts
Monitor expiring contracts
Report on Equity Stats and updating the CRA system
