The South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI) requires an efficient and enthusiastic person to provide support and professional advice to all SANBI Business Units with regard to SCM Policies, Procedures which are governed by the Treasury Regulations and Legislation.
The successful candidate must be in possession of a three-year National Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management/ Financial Management enhanced with a minimum of five (5) years’ working experience in the Supply Chain Management of which at least two (2) years must be at a supervisory level.
The candidate should demonstrate good communication and analytical skills, excellent interpersonal relations, communication skills, negotiation skills, organizational skills are a prerequisite. Knowledge of Law of Contract will be added advantage.
Serve as the point of contact for customers on contractual matters. Ensure that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness. The candidate must be highly proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel and possess a valid Code B driver’s license and willing to travel.
