Digital Marketing Coordinator – University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg

Purpose
Wits University Press, a publisher and department of the University of the Witwatersrand, is advertising for a part-time Digital Marketing Coordinator. This is a newly created position, and the incumbent will work closely with the Press’ Marketing and Publicity Officer to develop digital marketing and promotion strategies. The position will suit a self-motivated individual with experience in digital marketing and promotions.

Key responsibilities include the following:
· Supporting the Marketing and Publicity Officer with the digital marketing of products
· Development of digital marketing strategies and initiatives
· Management of digital sales vendors and libraries
· Website, social media and other media accounts maintenance.

Requirements
· Degree or Diploma in digital marketing
· Strong communication skills (report writing, team communication)
· Data compilation and analysis skills
· Prior experience of digital marketing and / or digital publishing.
This position is based in Johannesburg, Gauteng.
